OnlineJobs.ph Job Application Assistant is a Chrome extension that helps job seekers extract details from OnlineJobs.ph job posts and draft editable application messages using the AI provider or endpoint selected by the user.
This privacy policy explains what information the extension handles, why it handles that information, how the information is stored, and when information may be sent to a user-selected AI provider.
The single purpose of the extension is to help OnlineJobs.ph users extract job posting details and generate editable job application messages using their own configured AI provider, API key, or compatible endpoint.
The extension does not submit job applications automatically. Users remain in control of reviewing, editing, copying, filling, and submitting their own application messages.
Profile information entered by the user, such as name, work experience, skills, contact details, target roles, portfolio links, salary expectation, preferred work setup, message guidance, and other details the user chooses to save for application drafting.
AI configuration entered by the user, such as provider, base URL, model name, and API key.
OnlineJobs.ph page content visible on the active job post page, such as job title, job overview, salary or wage, hours per week, date posted or updated, company information, page URL, and extracted time.
Application history saved by the user, including generated subjects, messages, and related job details.
Extension preferences, such as popup mode, side-panel mode, and other interface settings.
The extension uses profile information, saved guidance, and extracted OnlineJobs.ph job content to generate or improve editable application subjects and messages.
The extension uses AI configuration only to connect to the user-selected AI provider or compatible endpoint.
The extension uses application history to show recent generated messages for reuse, review, export, or import.
The extension can fill selected OnlineJobs.ph application form fields only after the user chooses the fields and clicks the fill action.
The extension does not use user data for advertising, tracking, analytics resale, creditworthiness decisions, or unrelated purposes.
User profile information, AI settings, message guidance, application history, and interface preferences are stored locally in the user browser using Chrome extension storage. Local storage may also be used as a local fallback.
The extension does not operate an external server for storing user profile data, API keys, application history, or extracted job content.
Users can update or delete saved data from the extension interface, clear extension storage in Chrome, or uninstall the extension to remove locally stored extension data.
The extension does not sell user data.
The extension does not use user data for advertising.
The extension does not transfer user data to third parties except when necessary to provide the extension core feature requested by the user.
When the user tests the AI connection, generates a message, or improves a message, the extension may send the relevant request content and authentication details to the AI provider or endpoint selected by the user.
The request content may include profile details entered by the user and job post content extracted from OnlineJobs.ph.
Supported or compatible AI providers may include Ollama, OpenAI, OpenRouter, Anthropic, Groq, or another compatible endpoint configured by the user.
The selected AI provider processes requests according to its own terms and privacy policy. Users should review the privacy policy of the AI provider they choose.
The extension use of user data is limited to providing its single purpose: helping users extract OnlineJobs.ph job details and generate editable job application messages.
We do not use user data for advertising, tracking, analytics resale, or unrelated purposes.
We do not sell user data or share user data except when necessary to provide the user-requested AI generation feature through the AI provider or endpoint selected by the user.
Storage permission is used to save profile information, AI settings, application guidance, application history, and extension preferences locally.
Active tab and scripting permissions are used to read visible OnlineJobs.ph job post content from the active tab and to fill selected application form fields after the user asks the extension to do so.
Clipboard permission is used when the user chooses to copy generated subjects, messages, or helper prompts.
Side panel permission is used to provide the extension assistant in Chrome side-panel mode.
Host permissions for OnlineJobs.ph are used only for job post extraction and selected form filling on OnlineJobs.ph pages.
Host permissions for supported AI endpoints are used only to send user-requested AI generation, improvement, or connection-test requests.
The extension does not collect location data.
The extension does not collect health information.
The extension does not collect financial or payment information.
The extension does not collect browsing history for tracking or advertising.
The extension does not monitor keystrokes, mouse movement, network activity, or user activity outside the extension core feature.
We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties outside of approved use cases required to provide the extension core feature.
We do not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the extension single purpose.
We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
Users can review and edit generated application messages before using them.
Users can choose whether to copy, save, export, import, or fill generated application content.
Users can update or remove their saved profile information, AI settings, and application history from the extension interface.
Users can stop using the extension at any time by disabling or uninstalling it from Chrome.
